Dear Asian filmmakers, the Valdivia International Film Festival (Chile) is accepting feature films until April 25, 2025.

About the festival:
Valdivia International Film Festival showcases Chilean and international cinema in five competitive categories: Feature Competition, Youth Feature Competition, Latin American and Caribbean Short Film Competition, Latin American and Caribbean Children’s Short Film Competition and Chilean Short Film Competition for Film Students. Its non-competitive program includes historical retrospectives, contemporary filmmakers’ retrospectives, political cinema, avant-garde cinema, genre, and a children-family oriented cinema slot.

Eligibility (International Films):
– The festival accepts international feature films (over 40 minutes) from any kind of genres (fiction, animation, documentary, and experimental).
– Filmmakers with Youth films can submit their film to the Youth Feature Film competition oriented to the screening of feature films films aimed to a youth audience from 14 to 20 years old.
– Films must have been completed after March 1st, 2024.
– Films must be Chile Premiere.
– Films must have English subtitles.
– Films must be submitted via FestHome.
– Submission Fee: $ 28 Euros
– Deadline: April 25, 2025
– Notification Date: September 10, 2025
