
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Winterthur International Short Film Festival (Switzerland) is accepting short films until July 13, 2025.
About the festival:
Internationale Short Film Festival Winterthur is Switzerland’s major short film festival, held annually in November. The six-day event is a popular public festival as well as an important hub for the international short film industry.
Kurzfilmtage is an Oscar®- ,BAFTA- and EFA-qualifying film festival for the Short Film category.
Eligibility (International Films):
– The festival accepts short films of all genres for the International Competition.
– Films must have been produced between 2024 and 2025.
– Films should not exceed the 40-minute mark.
– Films should be Swiss Premieres.
– Commissioned works made for advertising or PR purposes are not eligible.
– Films that were previously shown at Kurzfilmtage or films previously rejected cannot be submitted again.
– Submissions can be done via FilmFreeway or ShortFilmDepot.
