Dear Asian filmmakers, the Show Me Shorts Film Festival (New Zealand) is accepting short films until July 1, 2025.

About the festival:
Show Me Shorts is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading international short film festival. Our mission is to connect New Zealand audiences with short films and share New Zealand short films with the world.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short films (between 2 – 20 minutes) from any kind of genre, including documentary and animation. Music Videos should be between 1 minute and 10 minutes.
– Short Films and music videos must have been completed not more than two years before the opening date of the festival.
– Films must be New Zealand Premiere.
– All entries with dialogue not in the English language must be subtitled in English.
– Entry fees are non-refundable.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
