Dear Asian filmmakers, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival (Spain) is accepting films until February 28, 2025.

About the Festival:
This festival aims to cover the space of so-called “peripheral” cinemas, that is, production from Asia, Latin America, Africa and Eastern Europe. Film screenings can be seen in various venues around the city such as the Multicines Monopol, the Centro de Iniciativas de La Caja de Canarias (CICCA) or the Teatro Guiniguada. In addition to the official section, the programme includes several parallel sections.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short (under 40 minutes) and feature films (over 40 minutes) of both fiction and non-fiction films.
– The festival accepts films produced between 2024 and 2025.
– Films must be Spain Premiere.
– Films must have English subtitles.
– The festival will screen films in DCP format only.
– Submission Fees: FREE
– Deadline: February 28, 2025
