
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Buffalo International Film Festival (USA) is accepting films until July 11, 2025.
About the Festival:
Every fall BIFF screens over 150 features and short films from around the world – combining festival favorites with unique discoveries from local, regional, domestic and international makers. Now in its 19th year, the festival features films, episodic content, performances, panels, art installations, and special programs including Decolonial Films and Racial Justice in View! With a commitment to inclusion and amplifying diverse voices in narrative, documentary and experimental film; BIFF encourages works that push the boundaries of genre and form.
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts shorts (under 45 minutes) and feature films (over 45 minutes).
– Films must have been premiered after January 1, 2023.
– All selections are required to be a ‘Western New York premiere’ as defined as not having screened publicly in the United States within a 30-mile radius of Buffalo, NY, prior to the festival.
– Submissions must be submitted via FilmFreeway.
