The Beijing International Film Festival (China) is accepting films until January 25, 2025.

About the festival:
The Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) is organized by the Film Bureau of the General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of People’s Republic of China, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, Huairou District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, Beijing TV Station and Beijing Enterprises Group Real-Estate CO Ltd.

Tiantan Award Competition eligibility:
– Feature films (over 70 minutes).
– Films must be completed after April 1, 2024.

Forward Future Competition eligibility:
– Feature films (over 70 minutes)
– Films must be completed after April 1, 2024
– Director’s first or second feature-length film

– ReelFocus Fresh Blood Short Film Section eligibility:
– Open to both documentary and fiction films, with a primary focus on engaging universities both domestically and internationally.
– Short films (between 10 to 40 minutes)
– Films must be completed after April 1, 2024
– For this section you need to submit via: reelfocus.zhipin.com

– Beijing Film Panorama Section eligibility:
– Feature films (Over 60 minutes)
– Accepts fiction, animation and documentary films.
– Films must be completed after April 1, 2024

– In general, the festival will prioritize World premieres or international premieres.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: January 25, 2025
