Dear Asian filmmakers, the Fantasia International Film Festival (Canada) is accepting films until April 15, 2025.

About the festival:
Fantasia is a legendary 3-week blow-out of worldwide fantastic cinema taking place each July in the heart of Montreal. An event hell-bent on showcasing the most exciting, innovative and individualistic examples of contemporary international genre cinema from every corner of the globe.

Note: This article will display information and fees for international films for information about local films (Canadians) please visit the official website of the festival.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films (over 61 minutes), mid-length films (between 22 – 60 minutes), and short films (under 22 minutes).
– Any work produced and completed in the past 18 months prior to the festival.
– Films should have Montreal Premiere.
– Any work made available worldwide for an online public viewing before or during our dates will be ineligible.
– Any work made available for a geo-blocked virtual festival screening – outside of Canada – is still eligible.
– Submission fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
