ABBA: Against the Odds directed by James Rogan will open the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, which will take place from September 5 – 10, 2024 in Jecheon, South Korea.

About the director:
James Rogan is a multi-award winning filmmaker, known for films such as the iEmmy and Rose d’Or winning Freddie Mercury: The Final Act(2021), and the three-part series Uprising(2021), which he directed with Sir Steve McQueen. This landmark series picked up a BAFTA and a Realscreen Award. James is the Creative Director of Rogan Productions, a multi-award-winning production company, with recent credits including feature documentaries The Final: Attack on Wembley(2024) for Netflix and the highly acclaimed three-part series Defiance: Fighting the Far Right(2024) for Channel 4.
