
The Kolkata International Film Festival (India) is accepting films until August 31. 2024.
About the festival:
The Kolkata International Film Festival aims at creating a platform for better understanding of the films of past and present of the world in an atmosphere of appreciation of the film culture and to move towards excellence of the motion picture art and industry.
Eligibility:
– Films must be fiction-feature films (over 60 minutes).
– The festival only accepts short films (fictions under 30 minutes) and documentaries under 60 minutes from India.
– Films must have been produced between September 1, 2023 until August 31, 2024.
– The film which has not been theatrically released (commercially, on video/DVD/telecast/internet/VOD) in India.
– World, International and Asian Premiere will get preference, but films must be an Indian premiere.
– Short Films must be Indian Premiere.
– All films in the competition will be screened at the Festival in their original versions, with English subtitles.
– Selected film cannot be withdrawn for any reason from the festival once the selection is officially confirmed by the applicant.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: August 31. 2024
– Notification Date: November 15, 2024
