Dear Asian filmmakers, the Kaboom Animation Festival (Netherlands) is accepting films, immersive projects and games made in all animation techniques until October 1, 2024.
About the festival:
Kaboom Animation Festival is the one-stop-shop for the latest and greatest in all things animated. Ranging from cutting-edge experimental arthouse to colorful stories for families and kids, Kaboom will cater to the animation needs of all.
Eligibility:
– Films and projects must have been produced after January 1, 2023 and not previously submitted to the festival.
– Films and projects should contain a substantial amount of animation of any technique. Combinations of animation and live action may be eligible, as long as the larger part of the film is animated. The festival reserves the right to determine whether films qualify as animation.
– Short Films should not exceed the 30-minute mark.
– All films with dialogue or narration should have English subtitles, including English spoken films.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: October 1, 2024
– Notification Date: Mid-December 2024
