Dear Asian filmmakers, the ZINEBI International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao (Spain) is accepting short films until July 15 (2024), and feature films until august 31, 2024.

About the festival:
The International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao – ZINEBI is an international cinema event of a competitive nature recognized by FIAPF, the International Federation of Film Producers Associations, and organized according to FIAPF regulations and the regulations of the Festival. The Festival presents competitions (International Short Films, and International First Feature Films -ZIFF-) and curated programmes.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films (over 60 minutes) and short films (under 30 minutes) of all genres (fiction, documentary, and animation).
– For the Official Selection only films directed by debutant filmmakers will be accepted. Films directed by a filmmaker who has already co-directed a feature film will also be accepted.
– Short Films must have been completed after January 1, 2023. And Feature Films must have been completed after January 1, 2024.
– Short films with spoken languages other than English must be submitted with English subtitles.
– For short films World, Internation, and European premieres preferred. Feature films must be Spanish premiere at minimum.
– Films previously submitted are not eligible.
– Submissions must be made via FestHome.
– Submission Fee:
* Short Films – FREE (The submission platform may charge addition fees)
* Feature Films – $ 13.8 Euros (The submission platform may charge addition fees)
– Deadline:
* Short Films – July 15, 2024
* Feature Films – August 31, 2024
– Notification Dates:
* Short Films – October 31, 2024
* Feature Films – October 15, 2024
