The Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics stadium has been left in ruins after its glory days. A non-linear live broadcast of three elite athletes receiving the baton in the triathlon of ‘running-cycling-swimming’ unfolds. (BISFF 2024)

Due to a terrible accident, Yeojin becomes paralyzed in her lower body. Kang, her closest friend, wants to help her. Yeojin, who wants to be alone, and Kang, who cannot leave her alone, find themselves in conflict with each other. (BISFF 2024)

Notsae shares childhood stories with her daughter Eunsung. She reminisces about her first love who was drafted into the military, the day electricity first arrived in the village, and her dearly missed mother. As she unravels her memories, Notsae’s longing for the irreplaceable hometown deepens. Eunsung decides to illustrate her mother’s life in a comic book. (BISFF 2024)

A self-proclaimed fan shows up in front of a movie director who makes so-called “uncomfortable” films. The fan offers to provide the director with inspiration, unraveling a story about a little girl and a stable. (BISFF 2024)

Shinwoo, who can’t do push-ups, likes Eunhee, who is good at push-ups. However, when Eunhee offers to teach him push-ups, Shinwoo pushes her away and confronts memories he had been trying to avoid. (BISFF 2024)

Summer Vacation by Kim Minseong – Korea | 2023 – 28 minutes

Sooyeon is going to prepare ribs for the 10 year anniversary of her mother’s death. However, in the midst of preparations, Sooyeon’s stepmother, Youngeun, visits to help in place of Sooyeon’s busy father. Sooyeon understands Youngeun’s intention, but the situation is uncomfortable. As a day passes amidst consideration and apologies, the morning of the memorial service dawns. (BISFF 2024)

I have dedicated more than half my life to work. Now that retirement is approaching, I find myself at a loss, lacking confidence. Yet, I still carry dreams overshadowed by my career. Through a young man in his 20s who reminds me of the person I was 30 years ago, I try to realize that my dreams are still within reach. After all this time, I wonder if I can pursue those dreams once again. Why not? Age doesn’t matter. (BISFF 2024)

ThreeTwoOne by jang Heajin – Korea | 2024 – 29 minutes | World Premiere

Our protagonist, Hana has a twin sister, Yeong, who was born 3 minutes earlier. Strangely, what happens to Yeong also happens to Hana in exactly 3 days. Then one day, Hana witnesses Yeong’s sudden death. As she looks for the reason for Yeong’s death, Hana realizes she might die in 3 days too. Running away aimlessly, Hana finds herself in a distant place where she suddenly hears a strange voice… It’s a narration interpreting her entire life! (BISFF 2024)
