Dear Asian filmmakers, the Viennale International Film Festival (Austria) is accepting feature films until July 31, 2024.

About the Festival:

The Viennale is Austria’s most important international film event, as well as one of the oldest and best-known festivals in the German-speaking world. Every October, the Viennale takes place in beautiful cinemas in Vienna’s historic center, providing the festival with an international orientation and a distinctive urban flair.

Note: Please bear in mind that although this is open for submissions the program mainly consists of films participating by invitation.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films only from any type of genres and formats.
– International short films are not eligible.
– Films should have been completed after October 1, 2023.
– Films should have English subtitles.
– Films should be at least Austrian Premieres.
– Screening formats accepted: 70mm, 35mm, 16mm, S-8, DCP.
– Submission Fee: Free
– Deadline: July 31, 2024
– Notification Date: September 13, 2024
