The Docs by the Sea (Indonesia) is calling for documentary projects until April 28, 2024.
About:
Docs by the Sea is an international documentary lab and forum for creative documentary projects from Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and other Asian regions. Through Docs by the Sea, the selected documentary projects will obtain mentorship and pitching opportunities that allow them to connect with the international market.
DBTS x CCDF Investing for Good SouthEast Asia
This year, in partnership with CNEX Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF), we are actively soliciting documentary projects from Southeast Asia that cater to Chinese-speaking audiences with international appeal. These projects may either focus on Chinese-related topics and be created by any filmmakers, or they may be produced by Chinese diaspora filmmakers covering any subjects.
Each selected project will receive a travel grant to attend the Docs by the Sea lab, CCDF training workshop and pitching forum in person in Bali, and at CCDF Taiwan in late September 2024. Two opportunities will be given to projects from the Editing, Storytelling, and Short Storytelling Labs.
