The Korea Queer Film Festival is accepting films until March 24, 2024.

About the festival:
Korea Queer Film Festival(KQFF) is an LGBT film festival held in South Korea. With the slogan, “Open the Queer Window”, the festival is an opportunity to examine every aspect of living as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. They aim to foster LGBTQ+ culture and promote LGBTQ+ rights while enhancing the diversity of the Korean cinema.

Aside from the opening and the closing ceremony, the program includes Current Issue and Experimental Shorts. They also have other supplementary programs such as Guest Visits(GV) and Queer Movie Talk(Q-Talk), a series of discussion sessions on different subjects.

Eligibility:
– Subject matter and materials of your film entries must be suitable for a LGBT film festival, and your film entries must contain certain insight or perspective on the lives of the LGBTIAQ+ community.
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2023.
– The festival accepts short films under 40 minutes and feature films over 41 minutes.
– Films can be in any language. Films MUST include English Subtitles.
– There is no premiere restriction policy, and all films are eligible for submission regardless of their availability on TV/DVD/OTT platforms.
– The festival only accepts International Films through FilmFreeway.
– Submission Fees: Feature Films $ 5 USD | Short Films $ 2 USD
– Deadline: March 24, 2024
– Notification Date: April 10, 2024
