14th Bengaluru International Short Film Festival – Call for Entry 2024

The Bengaluru International Short Film Festival is accepting short films until April 30, 2024.

About the festival:
BISFF was conceived on a dream-fuelled evening and came to fruition with the strength provided by multi-award winner Prakash Belawadi. Prakash continues to be the festival mentor. The idea of BISFF was to create a platform for young and amateur filmmakers to screen their shorts to discerning audiences and, more importantly, find constructive and critical feedback from experts in the field. The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Designated the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival (BISFF) as an official qualifying film festival for Live-Action.

Eligibility:
– The festival only accepts short films both fiction and animations. Documentaries are not accepted.
– Films must be 30 minutes or less. Running time includes end credits.
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2023.
– English subtitles mandatory for all submissions (including English language films).
– This year the festival will be hybrid (on site and online).
– Submissions must be done via FilmFreeway.

We remind readers that the 14th Bengaluru International Short Film Festival will take place from August 8 – 18, 2024 in Bangalore, India.

    have a clarifiation. I Noticed below Term under “Eligibility”

    “Films must have been produced after January 1, 2023” which means the films made in 2024 are NOT eligible ?

    What about the Films made in 2024 are eligible for Next year ONLY ? ro 2024 is included ?
