
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Cinema Jove – Valencia International Film Festival (Spain) is accepting films until March 20, 2024.
About the festival:
The Cinema Jove International Film Festival, that has been committed to acting as a meeting point for young filmmakers from all over the world. The festival is organized by the Valencian Institut of Culture – IVC, and it’s accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films (over 60 minutes), and short films (under 30 minutes).
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2023.
– The director must be born after January 1, 1984.
– Films must have Spanish Premiere, must not have had a commercial screening in Spain nor must they have been screened at any other Spanish film festival before or during Cinema Jove 2024.
– Any film not presenting sufficient technical qualities for a correct public screening will be refused.
– Directors can submit up to two films.
– Films must be presented in original version with English subtitles.
– Films must not have been submitted in previous editions of the festival.
– Submissions must be made via MOVIBETA
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: March 17, 2024
– Notification Date: April 22, 2024
