Dear Asian filmmakers, the International Film Festival Art Film (Slovakia) is accepting films until April 15, 2024.

About the festival:
The Festival offers a multifaceted space for the presentation of films from the latest world cinema, significant titles from film history, and, last but not least, a comprehensive overview of films from the Slovak audiovisual industry.

Categories:
– International Competition of Feature Films
– International Competition of Short Films
– International Competition of Films from Central and Eastern Europe

Note: This article will only cover rules for the first two categories.

Eligibility (International Films):
– The festival accepts short films (under 30 minutes) and feature films (over 60 minutes).
– The festival accepts fiction, documentary, experimental, or animated.
– Feature films submitted to the International Competition must be the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd film of the director to be able to submit.
– The festival accepts short films done by professionals and students.
– Films must have been completed after January 1, 2023.
– Films must have English subtitles.
– Films can be submitted via FilmFreeway.
