Dear Asian filmmakers, the Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival (Portugal) is accepting films until April 30, 2024.

About the festival:
Assuming as the main objective the promotion and diffusion of cinematographic and audio-visual works, selected according to quality criteria, Curtas Vila do Conde focus on the discovery of new films and filmmakers and also on the recognized legacy of Cinema.

Eligibility (International Films):
– The festival accepts short films (under 60 minutes) from all kind of genres (Animated, documentary, fiction, and experimental films)
– Films should have been produced between 2023 – 2024.
– The festival accepts films in film (16mm e 35mm) or digital (DCP), are eligible for the various competitions.
– Films should be at least Portuguese Premiere, World Premieres are prioritized.
– Movies previously programmed in other Portuguese film festivals, or that have had any other kind of public screening in Portugal, will not be admitted.
