Dear Asian filmmakers, the CINELEBU Lebu International Film Festival (Chile) is accepting short films until December 6, 2023.

About the festival:
The purpose of the festival is to offer Chilean and foreign audiovisual filmmakers an instance of dissemination, marketing and distribution of short fiction, documentary, and animation films, promoting audiovisual productions of technical and artistic quality, facilitating, and generating spaces for contacts, business, support, and exchanges, for current and future works. It also promotes training, education, and audiences.

CINELEBU is the only festival in Chile that qualifies short films for the Oscars Awards in three categroies: International Animation, Regional Fiction, and International Fiction and since 2023 Cinelebu is a Qualifying festival for the Goya Awards.

Eligibility (international films):
– The festival accepts fictions, documentaries, and animations.
– The festival accepts short films under 30 minutes.
– Films must be produced between January 1, 2023 and December 2, 2023.
– Submissions must be done via FestHome or Website.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: December 6, 2023
– Notification Date: April 6, 2024
