Angry Annie directed by Blandine Lenoir will open the Film Festival for Women’s Rights which will take place from September 20 – 24, 2023 at ARTNINE, Seoul, Korea.

Inspired by true events. A countryside village in France, 1974. When she accidentally becomes pregnant, Annie, a working mother of two teenagers, meets with the Movement for the Liberation of Abortion and Contraception (MLAC); doctors and women who perform illegal abortions in the public eye, practicing a free, safe and respectful method. About the director:
Blandine Lenoir is an actress and director. She has directed tenat numerous festivals in France and abroad, all of which have been broadcast on television. Her third film, “Annie Colère”, starring Laure Calamy, was released in 2022.
