
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Florida Film Festival (United States) is accepting films until December 11, 2023.
About the festival:
This 10 day celebration of filmmakers and their art includes an Oscar® accredited American Independent Film Competition for features, docs, shorts, and animation, along with an International Showcase, Spotlight Films (those already with distribution), Midnight Movies, Music Films, Food Films, Florida Films, VR/AR, New Media/Web, Secret Screenings, Tributes, Special Guests, Panels & Forums, parties, and more.
Note: The information publish in this article will only cover categories or competitions for international films, for categories for local films please visit the festival’s website.
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films (fiction, documentary, or animation) over 41 minutes. And short films (fiction, documentary, animation, or experimental) below 40 minutes.
– Films may not have been completed and/or publicly screened in the United States prior to January 1, 2023
– Films should be at least Florida Premiere.
– Films that have not been accepted may not be officially notified until early March.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
