Glitter & Doom directed by Tom Gustafson will close the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival which will take place from September 8 – 23, 2023 in Hong Kong.

Embark on a whimsical and captivating journey through the vibrant world of GLITTER & DOOM, a boisterous musical extravaganza crafted around the timeless melodies of the Indigo Girls and directed by Tom Gustafson (HELLO AGAIN, HKLGFF 2017). Join Doom, a soulful musician, and Glitter, an adventurous circus performer, as their summer romance unfolds against a backdrop of campfires, heartfelt conversations, and sensational musical numbers. As they navigate the treacherous waters of the music industry and contend with their mothers’ (played by Ming-Na Wen and Missy Pyle) expectations, they must discover what truly ignites their souls and fuels their dreams.
