
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival (Greece) is accepting documentaries until November 30, 2023.
About the festival:
TiDF is among the most important documentary festivals in Europe and an Oscars® documentary feature qualifying festival, celebrating the art of documentary via a rich program of films, events, initiatives and the Agora Doc Market, a lively hub for film professionals.
Eligibility:
– The Feature Length International Competition accepts documentaries with a running time over 70 minutes.
– The Newcomers International Competition accepts documentaries with a running time over 50 minutes.
– The Film Forward International Competition accept experimental documentaries with a running time of over 45 minutes.
– The Immersive Competition Section accepts VR/AR/XR projects.
– First or second-time directors can submit to the Newcomers International Competition.
– Films must have been completed within 12 (twelve) months preceding the Festival screening.
– Films MUST be World, International or European Premiere.
– Films have not been released or screened publicly in Greece either in cinemas, television or online.
