
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival (China) is accepting documentaries until August 31, 2023.
About the festival:
Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival, China (GZDOC), operated and organized by Guangdong Global Raytur Film and Television Media Co., Ltd, is now the only national documentary industrial event hosted by State Administration of Radio, Film and TV and Guangdong Provincial Government. GZDOC endeavors to bring China to the world and have the world know China and has been developing itself towards an international, professional and market oriented festival.
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts documentary series (at least 3 episodes long), micro documentary (under 10 minutes), short documentary (10 – 40 minutes), and feature documentary (over 40 minutes).
– Films should have been produced after January 1, 2020.
– Films must be subtitled or dubbed in English.
– Commercial films, fiction films, and TV programs are not eligible for submission.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: August 31, 2023 (00:00 – GMT+8)
– Notification Date: November 30, 2023
