
Dear Asian filmmakers, the FIPADOC International Documentary Festival (France) is accepting documentaries until October 13, 2023.
About the festival:
FIPADOC is the first event on the circuit of major international documentary festivals each year. In 2024, over eight days, it will bring members of the public and professionals together for screenings of a selection of outstanding documentary films. Hosting meet‑and‑greets and premiering new projects, FIPADOC is committed to promoting innovation, image appreciation, and new talent.
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature (over 60 minutes) and short documentaries (under 20 minutes).
– Documentaries must have been produced between November 1, 2022 and October 1, 2023.
– Films must be submitted in their original language with English and/or French subtitles.
– The festival prioritizes films with France Premiere. In the case of short documentaries, the festival has no constraints regarding premiere status.
– Submissions must be made via FestiCiné or ShortFilmDepot.
– Submission Fees:
* Feature Documentaries – $ 48 Euros
* Documentary Series – $ 80 Euros
* Short Documentaries – $ 12 Euros
– Deadline: October 13, 2023
– Notification Date: December 22, 2023
